FitSets Open Water Swim Clinic – On Demand (2 hours 30 min)

This clinic is for swimmers looking to improve their open-water technique. We focus on the key elements for efficient and sustainable technique, including balance, buoyancy, timing, breathing and propulsion.

Location: The Emily Seebohm Aquatic Centre – Fitzgibbon

Alternative Location: We can run the clinic at your local pool. Approval for pool use is to be arranged by the client. We can provide proof of Insurance and credentials. Travel beyond 50km from North Lakes, QLD, will be at an additional cost.

Lead Time: 2 Weeks’ Notice of the date of the clinic

Clinic attendee limit:  1 to 6 swimmers

Cost: $150 for 1st Swimmer, $100 for additional swimmers.

Clinic Program 

  • Warm-up and Video Capture (20 min) 
  • Video Review and technique improvement targeting (30 min to 1 Hour depending on class size)
  • In Pool Technique correction and practice (1 Hour 10 Min)
  • Session Review and take-home tips

Prerequisites

  • Ability to swim front crawl for 100m non-stop.

  • Each session will have theory and practical. You will be in and out of the pool, so bring some warmth.
  • Goggles
  • Deck coat or fleece
  • Water Bottle
  • Snacks (No canteen onsite)
